About Carecrows
I'm Shivani, a certified coach for women, and I founded Carecrows to empower women living with ill health. I give women very specific practical tools to experience being respected, listened to, and treated like a queen, not the maid. Quit people-pleasing, stop the negative self talk, end compulsive destructive habits - I did it, and so have the dozens of women I've coached.
Growing up, I did not have appropriate support or training, nor did I know anyone going through what I was experiencing. My chronic ill health, which I still live with, was less understood and frankly, dismissed. Sound familiar?
I know I was surrounded by people who loved me and wanted the best for me, yet I felt broken, exhausted and discouraged. I know I'm not alone in feeling this way and it is my mission that no woman feels alone, misunderstood or left behind to suffer while they are living so vulnerably with any illness. They deserve a coach and here I am.
Following an enriching career in the education and cultural sectors, and inspired by all the ill women I have encountered in my life, I retrained as a coach to go solo with my own venture, Carecrows.
So, this is me, and I'm looking out for you.

Why 'Carecrows'?
Not to be confused with scarecrows, which are designed to discourage and unnerve, Carecrows is my definition of women who attract, encourage, support, and empower one another.
Crows are beautiful, intelligent, curious, social and creative creatures. They choose solitude or company, whichever suits in a given moment, but they need one another to live healthy and happy lives.
Crows have such presence and command. They simply captivate and enchant me.
I chose the term Carecrows to represent the women I have the privilege of meeting and knowing, that to me embody the essence of the stunning crow.
I owe my path to the wonderful places I have been privileged to work at, and the training providers who guided me.
